California’s Temporary Prisons Chief Resigns

Just two months after Roderick Hickman resigned as secretary of California’s prison system, his temporary replacement Jeanne Woodford announced that she is leaving the post.

Woodford could not be reached for comment, but sources say she is quitting in part because Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s office indicated that she would not be permenently appointed to the position, reports the San Francisco Chronicle. Read more HERE.
