Magazine Spring and Follower

Brownells announced the addition of a new XP (extra power) magazine spring and follower to its large selection of parts for the Remington 870 pump shotgun. The steel spring that is included in the part restores feeding force to ensure shells move precisely from the magazine to the carrier. The spring is designed to keep tension when the magazine is left fully loaded for an extended period of time.

The follower is colored orange to give the operator visual confirmation of an empty magazine. Its aluminum construction provides long-wearing durability and the part is easy to install with no special tools or gunsmithing skills required, according to Brownells.
