Prindle Leaves HOK for HDR

DALLAS — Full-service planning, design and engineering firm HDR Architecture Inc. hired William Prindle II, AIA, LEED AP, as vice president and director of justice operations.

“This is a real game changer for the industry,” says Roger Stewart, senior VP and director of HDR’s civic business group. Since 1975, HDR has designed approximately 650 courtrooms and more than 175,000 jail and prison beds, according to the company.

Prindle brings more than 29 years of industry experience to his new position, where he will lead the firm’s justice practice, assuming responsibility for all major aspects of all HDR justice projects.

“Bill brings tremendous experience in large scale justice projects, especially in design-build,” Stewart says.

Previously, Prindle was senior VP and managing principal at St. Louis-based architectural firm HOK, where he served as regional justice practice leader working from the group’s Dallas office.
