SimplexGrinnell Names Chauvin President

 WESTMINSTER, Mass. — SimplexGrinnell appointed Robert Chauvin president succeeding Jim Spicer, who retired from the position, effective September 30th.

Chauvin career in the fire and life safety industry spans more than 30 years and he most recently served as vice president of northern operations at SimplexGrinnell.

“Bob has impeccable credentials and brings an exemplary record of leadership and accomplishment to this critical position as president of one of Tyco’s key businesses,” says outgoing president Jim Spicer.

Vice president since 2004, Chauvin, who received a Tyco Chairman’s Award in 2008, also previously served as chief financial officer.
