Access Control System
The access control system by On the Gate is installed in hundreds of jails, prisons and detention centers throughout the U.S. Its dual lock system and sliding metal door with hinged cover is design to give authorized personnel complete control of the pass way in detention doors and eliminates direct contact with violent or deviant inmates, lowering inmate violence against staff by eliminating direct contact. The stainless steel system features a clear Lexan cover for visibility by personnel. It is available for cell doors with center slot openings or side slot cuff openings, with fixed or removable security box configurations, a sliding stainless steel door with a laser-cut ratchet mechanism with security lock. It retrofits to existing detention doors.
