Video Camera Storage

Vievu released its new cloud-based storage service via Amazon Web Services for its line of body worn video services designed for police, law enforcement, and security organizations. With 90 days of file storage, users can store, share, review and access secure and encrypted video evidence 24-hours-a-day, according to the company. The travel-size cameras work with an online system that can be clipped onto a lapel or belt, allowing officers to video and record all scenes and situations. All of the company’s body-worn video cameras come with a secure video file management system, which includes multiple layers of security protection to ensure chain of custody and evidence protection, according to the company. While officers are not permitted to access or edit the videos, the software only enables specific department administrators to do so.
