Rex Richard

A warden at the Community Corrections Center in Lincoln for the last 14 years, Rex Richard has been recently appointed to the Nebraska Board of Parole. There, Richard will be responsible for helping the board review the status of criminal offenders and determine grants and conditions of paroles. He began his career with the Nebraska Department of Correctional Services in 1978 as an officer at the Nebraska State Penitentiary. Richard later on ascended through the ranks, holding various positions at several facilities in Lincoln and Omaha, including unit manager, as well as major and deputy warden. Richard graduated from the University of Nebraska with a degree in criminal justice.
