Brian Meade, AIA, LEED AP, has been promoted to senior associate at Dewberry’s Elgin, Ill., office. Meade has more than 18 years of experience as an innovative designer on both national and international projects. He has planned and designed a variety of building types including civic, religious, academic and residential mixed-use projects of all scales. With a passion for community engagement and discovering sense of place, Meade’s unique process has led to many award-winning solutions that go beyond pure functional requirements to reflect the community’s true spirit. His recent design work includes the Police and Court Center in Tolleson, Ariz., and the Killeen, Texas, police headquarters. Meade holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in architecture from the University of Illinois. He is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the Association of Licensed Architects.
