Russell Maston has been named a deputy warden at the Parkersburg Correctional Center in Parkersburg, W.V. He has worked with the West Virginia Department of Corrections for 15 years, beginning as a correctional officer I at St. Mary’s Correctional Center. He was soon promoted to correctional officer II, and later held the rank of corporal, sergeant and programs specialist. Maston is a lifelong resident of the St. Mary’s area and attended both Parkersburg Christian School and West Virginia University at Parkersburg. He has also been active in the department’s honor guard and Emergency Response Team.
