David Dalrymple was recently sworn in as the new Northampton County Sheriff. Dalyrymple, a retired New Jersey State Police major, was approved by a 7-1 vote and will begin his tenure by evaluating and observing the department. Dalrymple previously served as chief of the Official Corruption Bureau, and was named trooper of the year in 2007. He received his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, and earned a Master of Arts from Seton Hall University. After retiring he also founded Adaptive Investigations and Consulting LLC to provide investigation and consultation services in criminal and civil litigation support.
