The S-3000 series incorporates a true thermally broken window frame for northern climate zones or hot zones where energy efficiency is a strong consideration. It features fixed and operable windows with a thermally broken exterior aluminum frame and an integrated interior stainless steel security barrier containing security bars. This security barrier also accommodates the installation of a separate piece of security glass to reduce hanging risk and further improve the thermal properties. The company’s latest development adds a thermally broken energy-efficient damper vent concealed between two perforated stainless steel plates for added security and vandal resistance. The damper vent is ideal for use at outdoor recreation yards where inmate contact with the window is possible. The S-2200 series is an economical thermally enhanced stainless steel framed window. It can be either fixed or incorporate an integrated operable vent. The S-2000 series is the non-thermal version of the company’s Series 2200 window. It typically uses non-thermal glazing and is used mainly in temperate southern and central regions.
