Architect Eric Weflen has been named a new principal partner with Indianapolis-based engineering and consultant firm RQAW Corporation. Weflen, director of the firm’s architectural division, joined RQAW in 2010 and becomes one of five partners leading the company. He brings more than 10 years of experience to RQAW, with deep expertise in designing and coordinating all architectural-phase services for a variety of municipal, justice and public safety projects.
His expertise most recently led RQAW’s design of the Posey County Jail, Greenfield Fire Station 22, Fishers City Hall site and the Washington County Judicial Center. RQAW also has recently been awarded the Jackson County Judicial Center project, with Weflen serving as principal-in-charge and project manager.
