Lightweight Ballistic Shield
Police Ballistic Shield Inc., introduces its Riggs Shield, a patented, lightweight, NIJ Stab Level III and Shot Level IIIa ballistic shield that is small enough to use in the close quarters of a jail cell to protect an officer’s body and face against punches, stabs and chemical attacks. In NIJ testing and over penetration testing, the Riggs Shield bent or broke all knife and spike attempts. The shield is rated to stop up to 0.44 Magnum, 240-grain pistol rounds.
