Seven Corners Awarded Healthcare Contract for USP Atwater

ATWATER, Calif.—Seven Corners Inc., an innovative international travel insurance and specialty benefit management company, recently announced its Bureau of Prisons (BOP) division was recently selected by the Federal BOP to become the new Comprehensive Medical Services contractor for inmates housed at the United States Penitentiary (USP) in Atwater.

This new five-year contract began June 1, 2019 and will continue until 2024. Seven Corners will provide off-site health care services and manage provider relationships for the federal correctional institution. USP Atwater houses approximately 1,200 male inmates daily and is one of eleven federal prisons in the state of California.

Seven Corners holds a total of 18 BOP contracts and, with the addition of USP Atwater, services nearly 26,000 federal inmates nationwide. Inmates at USP Atwater will receive quality care from a Comprehensive Provider Network, including Acute Care Centers, Ambulatory Surgery Centers, Long Term Acute Care Centers, Critical Access Hospitals and Specialty Physicians in the Atwater community.

Since its inception in 1993, Seven Corners has grown to service more than 1,000,000 customers each year including international travelers, federal inmates, U.S. government agencies, corporations, foreign governments and insurance companies.
