Daron Hall

Nashville-Davidson County Sheriff Daron Hall was recently sworn in as the 78th president of the National Sheriff’s Association. Hall has served on the NSA’s board of directors and executive committee for more than 15 years. Prior to being named as president, Hall served as sergeant-at-arms, treasurer, secretary and vice president. He is also the first-ever NSA president from Tennessee. Hall will continue his local efforts to shine a spotlight on mental illness. Over the next year, he will share his passion for this subject with sheriffs and others across the country. He will also emphasize the importance of sheriff’s operating safe, secure and accredited jails, maintaining professional and certified staff, in addition to continuing NSA’s work to protect the office of sheriff.
