Trussbilt & American Steel Products Merge to Form Trussbilt/American

SWAINSBORO, Ga. — Kenneth Feldman, president and CEO of Coastal Detention Holdings LLC, based in Swainsboro, officially announced the purchase of Trussbilt LLC on Nov. 5. Trussbilt, a premier detention equipment manufacturer from Sentinel Capital Partners LLC, will now merge with Feldman’s own detention equipment manufacturing company, American Steel Products, under the Coastal Detention Holdings LLC umbrella. With the new merger, it will form the largest detention equipment manufacturing firm in the world, according to a statement.

HURON, S.D. — Trussbilt LLC, a Vadnais Heights, Minn.-based manufacturer of security doors, frames, wall panels and ceilings in North America, announced the startup of a second production line for its TrussWall steel wall panel product.

With this addition at its Huron, S.D. facility, Trussbilt more than doubles its current TrussWall production capacity.

Steve Stonehouse joined Minnesota-based security products manufacturer Trussbilt as director of marketing for the western region of the United States. In his new role, Stonehouse will focus on marketing the company’s TrussWall and ceiling products.
