The Snake overhead anchor, an alternative to drop-in anchors, is available from Power Fasteners Inc.

Featuring an internally threaded body that can be driven or drilled with an impact wrench or hand socket, the anchor eliminates the need to swing a hammer overhead while on a ladder or lift. Once the product is set into a drilled hole, it is ready for the insertion of a threaded rod without the use of an expansion mechanism.
