Osborne Association recently celebrated the opening of its first supportive housing program in Brownsville, Brooklyn. Alongside the first-of-its-kind Kinship Reentry Program and transitional housing available at the soon-to-open Fulton Community Center, Osborne is building a set of innovative housing supports and wrap-around services that provide the stability and resources that older people returning from incarceration need to thrive.

After five months of helping to train 32 incarcerated women at the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility in Rankin County, the MDOC’s Mobile Welding Training Center is now making a difference for inmates at another location.

The incarcerated population at North Kern State Prison (NKSP) recently raised over $8,300 for the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
