Corrections Summit 2025 – Summit Awards
To honor beloved traditions, as well as a respected leader who left the corrections community too soon, Correctional News also recognizes attendees with two special awards presented annually at the Corrections Summit.
The Brown Jacket Award
The Brown Jacket Award is a long-standing tradition reimagined as a homage to the green jacket of the famed Masters golf tournament, celebrating those within the industry who have been a critical member and long-standing attendee of the Corrections Summit and dedicated their careers to elevating correctional design and construction, serving the industry with pride and professionalism. Winners are selected by alumnus awardees.
Zachariah Greene Memorial Award
Zachariah “Zach” Greene was the proud owner of detention and security contracting company Sustainable Security Solutions (S3) before he passed away in 2023. In addition to being a beloved husband and father, Greene was a widely respected member of the justice and corrections community. He worked for Southern Folger as well as Argyle Security Company and Argyle-owned companies ISI Detention Contracting and PDI, leaving his role as Chief Development Officer for Argyle to co-found S3. Along with dedicating his professional career to the corrections industry, the Zachriah Greene Memorial Award honors one recipient per year at the Corrections Summit who has demonstrated the utmost kindness and consideration in the field. Greene’s commitment to serving others with honesty, integrity and respect will never be forgotten and will be remembered through the annual Zachariah Greene Memorial Award. The winner is selected through observations in the field and being an outstanding member of the Correctional News community as well as the greater justice industry.
