Crime Reporting Phone App

iThinQware Inc., creators of the iWatch Mobile App Suite, released the  iWatch version 5.0, ideal for law enforcement organizations and sheriff offices. The iThinQware iWatch is a mobile application that enables citizens to turn in tips, images and videos about crimes or suspicious activities directly to law enforcement from almost any mobile phone or PC. Citizens can remain anonymous or may choose to disclose their identity. Reports can be submitted via text messages, emails or phone calls. For agencies, the iWatch application is bi-directional and allows authorities to receive, vet, track, forward and share crime tips within its own corporation. They can also push out tips, photos, videos and information to officers or other agencies if they choose. With the new iWatch, law enforcement can communicate back to informants and post information to other networking sites such as Facebook or Twitter to encourage citizens to share information with the police. Designed for iPhones, Androids and BlackBerries, citizens can actually talk directly to the iWatch server through a dedicated toll-free tip hotline, which receives phone call tips and converts them to text for law enforcement review.
