Audie Sherrod
Newly appointed warden at CCA America, Audie Sherrod is now responsible for the 2,400-bed North Fork Correctional Facility in Sayer, Okla. Sherrod has spent the last 25 years working in the corrections profession. Most recently, he served as chief executive officer and complex warden, with 700 professional staff under his supervision, at the Federal Bureau of Prisons Federal Correctional Complex and United States Penitentiary in Pollock, La. After attending Oklahoma State University, Sherrod began his career as a correctional officer in Fort Worth, Texas. He went on to become a warden for various BOP facilities in Colorado, Illinois and Louisiana. In 2007, Sherrod became a member to the United States Senior Executive Service, until his retirement from the BOP in 2011.
