Ken McKee

Former Bellamy Creek Correctional Facility Warden Ken McKee has been appointed the new deputy director for correctional facilities administration for the Michigan Department of Corrections (MDOC). McKee had served the Bellamy Creek Correctional Facility as warden since its opening in 2001, and will now be involved in hiring all wardens and higher-ranking correctional officials throughout the state. He will also supervise the Bureau of Health Care Services. He began his career with the Riverside Correctional Facility in 1983, and later worked at the Carson City Correction Facility and Michigan Reformatory. McKee was selected for the role by new MDOC Director Heidi Washington and began his official duties July 6.
