Cops: Suspect held in death of I-80 construction worker (Chicago Tribune)

Charges are pending this morning against a 23-year-old Hammond man accused of fatally hitting a construction worker with his car on Interstate Highway 80 in Indiana and then fleeing the scene, state police said.
