Gloria Hawkins-Turnage

Gloria Hawkins-Turnage has been promoted to chief counselor at Rutledge State Prison, located in Columbus, Ga. Formerly, Rutledge served as a clerk at the Columbus Transitional Center, where she was later promoted to counselor. She first joined the Rutledge State Prison staff in 2006 as a secretary for the prison’s Care and Treatment Department. Rutledge holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Troy University, where she is currently pursuing her master’s degree in public administration.
