The Southern Folger 205 Hinge applies to swinging doors at cells, corridors, plumbing chases, gates or other locations where a higher degree of security is required. It is available in full-surface or gap-type configurations. It exceeds all criteria for ASTM F1758 for detention hinges for Double Weight Grade 1. The weight capacity is 800 pounds per weld-on hinge.

Southern Folger

Secura Fence is Amico Security Products’ patented physical perimeter fence system. It is constructed from a solid sheet of HSLA steel that is simultaneously slit and stretched into a rigid diamond-shaped mesh design, allowing good visibility and light passage. This process creates a formidable barrier, offering strength, resistance and durability that provide delay, detection, deterrence and ample response time by authorities. A barrier can be created using mesh with smaller diamonds and wider strands that is very difficult to cut, climb or crawl under.

The Separator Compartment Tray by Cambro offers six compartments and is designed specifically for in-cell feeding programs. The tray can accommodate both hot and cold food simultaneously, and includes a cover that separates each compartment to retain food temperature and reduce spills. Locking ridges on the top of the cover and the bottom of the tray ensure more secure stacking capabilities. The tray is available in the company’s Camwear polycarbonate or pliable, break-resistant co-polymer as well as several color options.

Cambro

The Wedge, a new surface mounted lock pocket by Willo, replaces broken minimum-security locks with a new medium- or maximum-security locking system. The Wedge can mount to an existing doorframe and features an offset design that prevents inmates from accessing the lock bolt and eliminates tampering. It also includes a built-in door pull and an extended receiver cover that protects the latch bolt from outside the cell. The system meets the ASTM F1450 Grade 1 Security Hollow Metal test and offers a much less invasive installation process than flush-mounted versions.

JetRock offers commercial flooring replacement for correctional facilities that is both long lasting and simple to install. The fixture is fabricated using 14-gauge type 304 stainless steel in two seamlessly welded pieces and bolted internally together to form a one-piece, vandal-resistant unit. Internal piping is stainless steel, and exposed surfaces are polished to a satin finish or bright mirror finish. The floor-mounted unit includes a wall waste outlet and a rectangular lavatory basin with fast drain, air circulating self-draining soap dish and backsplash.

The SG-SD maximum-security suicide deterrent grille by Titus is a safe choice for correctional installations. The all-welded construction and design of the grille minimizes hole openings in the grille face, while still providing airflow and without compromising security and safety. It complies with NIC Guidelines for Suicide Prevention and California Title 24, and is available in a variety of widths, heights and sleeve lengths.
