Leviton’s Recessed Patch Panels can be installed in equipment cabinets to help with cable management. They are best used in storage spaces where the back rail is positioned close to the rear doors or with minimal depth from the front of the panel. The product is designed to install on standard 19-inch racks and cabinets, and the recess depth — 3 inches from installation point — provides room for proper patch cord bend radius.

Panels are offered in the company’s Universal and QuickPort styles, including 1RU 24-port, 2RU 48-port and 2RU 72-port configurations.

Otter Products offers two protective cases for sensitive portable electronic devices: The OtterBox Armor 1900 for PDAs and the OtterBox 4600 for Tablet PCs. Both products are built with waterproof, crushproof, drop-proof and dustproof materials, and offer access to the devices’ various functions via protected slots. The company says they are especially handy for construction managers working in the field.
