Beta Test Begins for Chemical-Spray Flashlight

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif. – Universal Guardian Holdings Inc., a provider of non-lethal protection products and security services, recently announced that the Lake Forest, Ill., Police Department initiated a pilot program with the Cobra StunLight, a product that blends non-lethal chemical agents with a flashlight.

The Cobra StunLight replaces the standard police flashlight with a rugged, high intensity LED flashlight and provides non-lethal force. The product illuminates its target and launches a laser-aimed stream of OC chemical agent to debilitate one or more assailants at standoff distances of up to 21 feet or more, the company says.

Universal Guardian also recently demonstrated the chemical-spraying flashlight at the Airports, Ports, Transportation Security Conference (APTS) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and anticipates several sales in the Middle East.
