Steam Trap Connector

Spirax Sarco has released a new line of universal steam trap strainer connectors that have an upgraded BDV3 blowdown valve. When used with standardized, universal-type steam traps, the new line’s swivel conectors create a complete, compact trap station with NPT, socket weld or 1/2-inch, 3/4-inch and 1-inch flanged connections.

The trap station is rated to 600 psig at 750-degrees fahrenheit. It is compatible with Spirax Sarco universal thermodynamic, balance pressure, inverted buck, flat and thermostatic, and bimetallic stream traps. The valve discharges 90-degrees away from the valve stem to reduce operator injury. Stations can be set up horizontally or vertically.
