Securitas Razor Wins Product of the Year Award

BOSTON — A razor designed to prevent it from being used as a weapon won the product of the year award for the corrections products category at the International Association of Chiefs of Police annual conference.

Securitas Inc.’s No-Shank high-security mini razor was judged based on its innovation, safety, effectiveness and efficiency by a panel of eight active law enforcement professionals with various backgrounds.

Securitas has sold more than 12 million products worldwide since it started manufacturing products in 1995, according to the company. The company also manufactures toothbrushes, pens, pencils, mirrors and clear personal care liquids.
