Senate puts back prison funding

Jackson County Commission Chairman Jeremy Branch said Wednesday that correctional officers at Apalachee Correctional Institution are expressing overwhelming relief in the wake of news that a threat to their jobs and the institution was quashed Wednesday in the Florida Senate.
