Negotiations ongoing for new jail site

DESOTO COUNTY – Two sites have emerged as potential sites for a new county jail facility, a 22-acre site off Vaiden Road owned by Steve and Lisa Beene and a nearby 40-acre site owned by construction company owner Jamie Harris.
