Bid Notice Issued for Wisconsin Jail/Justice Center

Eu Claire, Wis. — A bid notice was issued for a $59 million, 183,000-square-foot Eu Claire County Jail.  Included in the price tag is the remodeling of the 68,000-square-foot Eu Claire County Courthouse. 

The architect on the project is Milwaukee-based Venture Architects, and the contractor is Market & Johnson, based in Eu Claire. The building construction is pre-cast structure and masonry.  The first bid package, slated for Nov. 1 at 2 p.m., will be for the building excavation, structural precast materials, concrete foundations and detention equipment.  The bid package can be ordered online at www.demandstar.com, or by calling (800) 711-1712.
