Bruce Omtvedt

HDR Architecture Inc. promoted Bruce Omtvedt, AIA, to civic marketing principal for the North Central region. He will relocate from the firm’s Dallas-based office to its Chicago office. Prior to joining HDR, he focused on justice planning and design at SecureOps Architecture LLC, which he established; and Klein McCarthy Architects. Omtvedt has contributed to the planning, design and construction of more than 50 justice projects, including prisons, jails, courthouses and law enforcement centers totaling more than $750 million. HDR’s civic practice includes justice, federal and public projects.
