Lane County, Ore., Selects Corizon For Health Care Services
BRENTWOOD, Tenn. — Corizon announced that it has been awarded the contract for health care services in Lane County, Ore., effective July 1, 2012.
The 500-bed Lane County Adult Corrections facility has historically overseen its own health care services, but in light of rising health care costs, opted to publish an RFI in 2010 to assess the value of privatizing those services. After completing the RFI and RFP process, which included receiving recommendations from existing Corizon clients in nearby Washington and Clackamas Counties, Lane County selected Corizon as its health care service provider.
Within the contract, the company will provide administrative services related to the provision of comprehensive medical, mental health, dental and ancillary services to inmates in custody of the Lane County facility.
