Jessica Lee
Jessica Lee is the new vice president of Corizon’s nursing support department, based in the company’s corporate headquarters in Brentwood, Tenn. In her new position, she is responsible for ensuring the company remains current in nursing practice and licensure issues, as well as applying practice changes and new initiatives to the correctional health care environment. She will also develop and standardize nursing protocols, policies and procedures to guarantee appropriate translation of evidence-based care and compliance with all professional nursing/corrections organization standards.
Lee has worked in correctional health care since 2006 when she joined the company. She began her career as a regional health educator in Philadelphia, where she educated clinical and mental health staff about national correctional health care standards. Since that time, she has served most recently as a health services administrator at Rikers Island in Queens, N.Y. Lee earned her master’s degree in nursing from Drexel University and holds nursing licenses in both Pennsylvania and Connecticut.
