Michael Arndt

Michael Arndt has been named superintendent of the Mother Lode Regional Juvenile Detention Facility in Tuolumne County, Wash., set to open in December. Arndt has been a county employee for nine years, including four years as a probation officer. He has also received training in forensic child interviewing and social work. In his new role, Arndt will be responsible for management, staffing and scheduling of the 30-bed, co-ed facility. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly and master’s degree in social work from Ohio State University.
