Andrew Johnson
Lydig Construction announced Andrew Johnson as president of its Western Region Group (WRG). Johnson is replacing Gus Gottschalk, who is retiring after 34 years with Lydig. He will have oversight responsibility for all Western Region construction operations conducted out of Lydig’s Bellevue, Wash., office. Johnson is a University of Washington graduate who has spent his entire career with Lydig, starting with an internship in 2006. He has served in multiple capacities throughout his career, most recently as project manager, often leading Lydig’s most complex projects in a highly collaborative manner. Johnson will remain operationally focused with an emphasis on continuing to support and promote Lydig’s vision, mission, values and culture. Johnson serves as a member of the UW Construction Management Construction Industry Advisory Council and is active in the community, volunteering at food banks and charity endeavors focused in the greater Seattle area.
