Secura Key announces the release of the newest product in the e*Tag family of 13.56 MHz RFID readers. The ET8-WTD is designed to mount into a standard electrical box and use a Decora-style faceplate. Available in white and ivory, the reader meets the aesthetic requirements of many business applications.

The readers work with DES-encrypted cards and key tags from the manufacturers, but can also read any ISO 15693 RFID tag. The industry-standard Wiegand output makes this reader compatible with most access control systems. The line of reader/writers comply with the latest ISO 15693 and 14443A standards for interoperability and are suitable for all types of automatic identification and data collection applications.
