The Moss Group Announces Leadership Changes
Criminal justice and public safety consulting company The Moss Group (TMG) has announced that founder Anadora Moss has stepped into the role of Chief Executive Officer, where she will continue to guide TMG’s mission, strategic direction and impact across the field.
Moss founded TMG in 2002 after a career in state and federal government, including serving as a program manager with the National Institute of Corrections. She has more than four decades of experience helping public safety and correctional agencies strengthen culture, leadership, safety and operational practice. She is currently serving as an expert advisor for the Council on Criminal Justice, Women’s Justice Commission, is the past-chair for the American Corrections Association (ACA) Women Working in Corrections Committee, and is a founding member and past President of the Association of Women Executives in Corrections (AWEC).
The company also announced that Mara Dodson has been promoted to President. Dodson was previously TMG’s Vice President of Strategy and Growth, a role she held since June 2025. She joined TMG in 2008 and has worked across organizational functions including client delivery, business development, partnerships, business operations and growth planning for the organization.
Dodson has leading over 60 projects across more than 40 jurisdictions, supporting federal and state prison, jail, and juvenile clients in addressing workforce and professional development, sexual abuse prevention and response, culture transformation, services for special populations, safety and operational practice, gender-responsive services and program implementation. She is a member of the ACA, AWEC and the International Corrections and Prisons Association (ICPA).
