Claborn Manufacturing, a division of Cornerstone Inc., has introduced the Defender Frame Integrated, a flush-mounted security door frame designed specifically for new construction in correctional and detention facilities. Integrated directly into security hollow metal doors and frames during manufacturing, the system eliminates the need to retrofit lock housings to the exterior of door frames. Its enhanced lock pocket features an anti-tampering, anti-suicide design that prevents debris from obstructing locking mechanisms. Compatible with all approved lock brands, the system also incorporates a door position switch and LED door status indicator with guard assembly, providing enhanced security and operational functionality.
