Mayor de Blasio and the New York City Department of Design and Construction (DDC) announced recently that the City has reviewed and approved six teams—who each submitted a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to develop detailed proposals to design and construct four modern, smaller, humane borough-based jails.
