Recessed Correctional Lighting
Kenall’s updated Mighty Mac® RMCA and RMCD recessed ceiling luminaires are engineered for correctional environments where durability, safety and limited above-ceiling space are key concerns. Their lower-profile, lighter-weight housings help reduce interference with plumbing, conduit and ductwork while retaining ligature-resistant construction and a concealed internal piano hinge. Uniform lens luminance reduces direct glare and improves visual comfort, while standard 90 CRI supports more accurate color rendering and visibility. RMCA models are available in 1′ x 2′ and 1′ x 4′ sizes, with RMCD offered in 2′ x 2′ and 2′ x 4′ configurations. Optional tunable white technology adds further lighting flexibility to RMCD installations.
