RemoteMDx Now Controls Court Programs Inc.

GULFPORT, Miss. — Utah-based RemoteMDx acquired a 51 percent controlling interest in criminal justice services firm Court Programs Inc.

The deal for Court Programs Inc., which administers alternative sentencing and related offender monitoring services in more than 34 counties in Mississippi and Florida, solidifies RemoteMDx’s presence in the southeastern region, officials say.

With the recent acquisition of Minnesota-based Midwest Monitoring & Surveillance Inc., the deal furthers RemoteMDx’s strategic purchase plan to create a nationwide network that utilizes the company’s TrackerPAL offender-monitoring system, officials say.
