Ouachita Parish Ads 100-Beds to Jail

MONROE, La. (AP) – Construction could begin as early as next week on a new 100-bed men’s dorm at the Ouachita Correctional Center. The Ouachita Parish Police Jury approved on Monday a low bid of $422,931 by Hayco Enterprises of Tallulah to build the new dorm.
