Norment Security Names Charles Veniez as Chief Executive Officer

MONTGOMERY, Ala. – Norment Security Group, the world leader in comprehensive detention systems products and services and a part of The Gores Group portfolio of companies, appointed Charles Veniez as Chief Executive Officer and president. Veniez joins Norment from United Technologies Corp., where he held several roles in management, most recently as regional vice president and general manager, responsible for a number of fire and security businesses throughout the United States.

Prior to his most recent role at United Technologies, Veniez served as president of Onity Inc., an international security products company with operations in the U.S., Europe, Mexico, South America, India, Australia and China. He also served as a vice president for Kaba Ilco, a provider of mechanical and electronic access control solutions.
