Former FEMA director Joe Allbaugh is the new interim head of the Oklahoma Department of Corrections. Allbaugh, who also owns the public safety and emergency response consulting firm Allbaugh International Group, was selected on the basis of his expertise in both the private and public sectors. He currently sits on the board of the National Rifle Association and also served as the interim city manager for the city of Blackwell, Okla., in 2014. He is a graduate of Oklahoma State University.
