Vicon Industries Inc. offers the ViconNet 4.0 digital video management software that allows integration of analog and digital equipment into one network-based system. Features include alarm alerts that send email or text messages to the user’s PC or PDA and an alarm investigation tool that allows corresponding video to be accessed directly from alarm reports.


Flexible frame-per-second settings allow viewing at one FPS rate and recording at another, and a virtual matrix controller allows the display of the video from any camera using any monitor, simulating a crosspoint matrix system.
