Christopher Davies
Captain Christopher Davies, a 21-year veteran of the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office, has been named the county’s jail warden. In his new role, Davies will be responsible for the administration, operation and maintenance of the county’s Corrections Division, and will oversee nearly 850 inmates. Davies has served as a captain since 2008, prior to which he was as a lieutenant at the Bergen County Law and Public Safety Institute. Davies holds a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from John Jay College, a masters in education from Seton Hall University and is a certified public manager. He is also a New Jersey Police Training Commission-certified academy instructor, a physical conditioning instructor, and a certified chemical agent operator.
