W. Scott Loercher

International engineering and architectural firm Buchart Horn (BH) recently promoted W. Scott Loercher, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, to associate vice president of the firm’s Architectural Division. Loercher will be responsible for developing and carrying out a strategy for growing and demonstrating the expertise of the division. Loercher, who joined BH in 1995, has most recently served the company in the role of principal and director of design. In that capacity, he was instrumental in working with design principals, ensuring every project under his direction adheres to the firm’s design philosophy. Throughout his career, Loercher has specialized in turning client’s visions into extraordinary architecture by collaborating with leaders of public and private organizations, helping them articulate their goals, and following through with design solutions to bring their missions to life. Loercher holds a bachelor’s degree in architecture from Temple University and is a member of the American Institute of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.
