Actall Appoints Barry Prestage as Business Development Director

Real-time location systems provider Actall Corporation has appointed Barry Prestage as Business Development Director. In his new role, Prestage will focus on strengthening the company’s corrections, custody and healthcare business while supporting expansion into additional markets.

Prestage brings more than 30 years of experience in the corrections and security industries. He most recently served as Corrections Vertical Director within Motorola Solutions’ Video Security and Access Control division. His career also includes corrections-focused business development positions at Pelco and more than 17 years with Norment Security Group.

His technical background spans access control, video surveillance, alarm reporting, personal duress, perimeter intrusion detection and integrated electronic control systems for correctional facilities, courthouses and other secure settings. At Actall, Prestage will work with specifying partners, systems integrators and end users to develop opportunities involving staff safety, personnel location, automated mustering, restricted-zone monitoring and asset tracking.
